It is a tremendous honour to serve as Global Chairman of Integra International. Great progress has been made by our association since inception and our members (and their clients) have benefited greatly by being a member.
In the last year we passed a key milestone by reaching 100 member firms and now boast members in over 50 countries.
With an active programme of conferences and workshops the degree of co-operation between our members is high and the combined expertise and knowledge of our thousands of professionals is always available to members and clients alike. It is absolutely true to say that professional advice and assistance is only a phone call or e-mail away.
I am very much looking forward to the year ahead with conferences already arranged for Anaheim, California; Limassol, Cyprus; and Dublin, Ireland. Also our Cross Border Tax Group will meet once again - this year in Athens, Greece. My thanks in advance to the host member firms, our tireless Administrators, Susanne Martius in Berlin, Germany and Richard Purcell in Coquitlam, Canada and to all those who will join with us and take part.
As the world emerges from the global recession it is essential that we are able to assist each other in facing the challenges that will undoubtedly arise.
